7 weeks old
June 27. The chicks were about 7 weeks old here. They would return to the nest to eat and sleep but they roamed a lot. This chick wanted to play in the creek. It pretended to "stalk" sticks and bits of leaves. It has just dropped a favorite stick in the water and is preparing to pounce on it. |
