Invasive Plants and RIP

Invasives will always be returning to cleared territory. They come from unsprouted seeds in soil, from root fragments, and from plants that are inevitably re-introduced by seed. Many fewer invasive plants should show after about the first five years.

As territory in the Park becomes familiar to those who work there, it is essential to find volunteers willing to adopt a specified area of their choice and keep it free of returning invasives.
