Sligo Creek at Flood - February 22, 2003

Looking across Sligo Creek towards the flooded Sligo Parkway between Piney Branch and Maple just downstream of the bridge by the Kennebec playground.
The parkway was closed in this section because the water had been over the roadway.
An hour before the photo was taken the water was a foot higher than at this time and was several inches deep on the roadway.
Two and half hours before the photo was taken the water was a foot and a half lower and the stone wall on the opposite bank was visible.
